Mary Owens

Mary Owens is Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Black Diamond Associates. Her drive and passion is in partnering with executives, business owners and organizations to help them reach new levels of success. Mary believes people can accomplish amazing things in the right atmosphere, surrounded by the right support structure and resources.

Mary is recognized as a visionary leader and change agent who firmly believes that “nothing is beyond your reach.” She has produced extraordinary growth in sales, profitability and efficiencies for many companies. Mary has extensive experience in Business Development, Strategic Planning, Sales Management, Distribution Management and Marketing.

In 2009, Mary was awarded the Chairman’s Award and was a finalist for Tampa Bay 2010 Business Women of the Year. She was also awarded the YWCA Women in Leadership Award.

Mary has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from St. Louis University. She is a Certified Business Coach, a Certified Quality Facilitator, and a Certified Behavior Analyst.

Mary is a published columnist and served as Managing Editor for a quarterly magazine. She has served the community through involvement and leadership positions at Christian Business Connections, Small Business Development Center, the Small Business Resource Network, STAR Technology Center, Foundation for Youth Development, United Way, Brandon Chamber of Commerce, Tampa Chamber of Commerce, and St. Stephen Catholic Church.
