Lisa Huetteman
Lisa Huetteman, a company culture expert, transforms small business owners, who want to experience the freedom they sought when they started their companies, into business leaders who make it happen. After working with Lisa, these leaders don’t just hire people, they inspire them. They don’t just pay their employees, they invest in them. The result is a rock-solid team that pursues a common vision in an environment that is a great place to work.
Although she’s worked with leaders in public, government, and non-profit organizations, her passion is in helping small business owners who are serious about making big change happen but are stuck in the mire of the day-to-day. Lisa has discovered the formula for creating a winning culture using “Five Keys” that lead to stellar results.
Lisa is the author of the book The Value of Core Values: Five Keys to Success through Values-Centered Leadership, a wife to Scott, mother to Katie and Abby, a successful entrepreneur and co-founder of Black Diamond Associates, a life-long learner who has the degrees and certifications to prove it, a generous volunteer who has served on numerous non-profit boards, a marathon runner turned power-walker, a dog-lover, and a faithful follower of Christ who tries to practice more than she preaches.
Her book, The Value of Core Values: Five Keys to Success through Values-Centered Leadership has received praise from across the country.
Drawing on over 30 years’ experience working with both Fortune 100 and small businesses, Lisa has distilled the essential ingredients for building long-term business success in her book, The Value of Core Values: Five Keys to Success through Values-Centered Leadership. Lisa shows how companies that identify and explicitly define their core values, hire people who share them, and live them every day operate with a united vision and purpose that leads to exceptional performance and profitability.
Highlighting the difference between a marketing tagline based on words and core values that are truly integrated into the life of a business, Lisa draws upon the experiences of successful leaders and companies to show how living core values works in reality, and offers concrete steps to show readers what they can do to reap similar benefits.
This book challenges anyone leading a business to integrate key ideals into daily operations by using inspiring and practical case studies. By implementing the Five Keys described in this book, any business can become a values-centric organization where the leadership team drives a change in culture leading to sustainable and tangible success. More importantly, leaders can recognize and grow to appreciate that the greatest value of core values is ultimately in the values themselves.
The Spanish translation El Tesoro de los Valores Corporativos: Cinco claves para el éxito organizacional; Liderazgo centrado en valores was published in paperback in 2015 and in ebook format in 2016.
Lisa is a contributing writer to TwoTen Magazine, a global resource that enables business leaders to discover and execute their personal and organizational preordained purpose and perspective through perseverance, and Be Not Afraid…I Go Before You: A Collection of Stories filled with Love, Loss and Hope written by loved ones who have been bereaved and compiled by Imelda K. Butler.

Customer Feedback
“Thank you so much for the absolutely outstanding training yesterday. It truly was just what we needed. You had a great mix of instructions and activities. I have been to many trainings through the years, but you had different approaches that I had not seen or heard. I received great feedback from the staff. I feel confident this is going to assist them with conflict resolution, and improved communication.”
